Gambling is radically accessible.

Support is not.

The Evive Foundation funds access to free, proven, practical support for people and families affected by gambling harm, and helps communities build a more coordinated response, equip more people to help and build evidence the whole field can use.

Gambling changed. Support did not.

For most of human history, gambling came with built-in friction: you had to go somewhere, carry cash, face other people. Today it lives in every pocket, 24 hours a day, engineered to keep you playing.

The support system remains largely hidden. In many places, it’s nonexistent, hard to find, hard to trust or only visible once someone is already in crisis. People and families are still left to find help on their own, while providers, states and communities are working with limited tools, funding and visibility into what help people actually need.

The Evive Foundation helps close these gaps. We fund the missing pieces that make up a stronger response: free access in under-resourced states, trained peer support, resources for family and friends, provider tools, community outreach, and independent research that builds evidence to drive the entire field forward.

A Global Public Health Crisis with no connected response.

People experiencing gambling harm might call a crisis hotline, visit a clinician, or talk to a peer group, but those resources rarely work together as one connected response. Support can be difficult to find, hard to trust or visible only once someone is already in crisis. In some communities, it doesn’t exist at all.
